About Me

My photo
Dr. Holley
I am a musician, formally trained but always having an ear to the informal and the spontaneous. I am African American, proud of my country and people but also occasionally baffled by them (that's Y'ALL!!). I am the descendant of some strong people; at times I shudder at the thought of what they endured so that the activities I enjoy would be imaginable, much less possible. You can find a few video recordings on youtube, and I have been fortunate to appear on a few commercial CDs. I'll make up a list and post it later. What most folks call "career"…I say it's what you're surprised to see when you look back!!
